Refund Policy

Effective Date: 07/20/2025

At Lady Notary, we take pride in offering prompt, reliable mobile notary services. Due to the nature of scheduled appointments and travel commitments, the following policy applies:

1. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice for a full refund (excluding any processing fees).

 

Weather-related rescheduling: If you need to reschedule due to severe weather, we offer a 15% discount on your rescheduled appointment. Your safety is always our top priority.

 

2. No Refunds After 24 Hours

No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or service refusals with less than 24 hours’ notice of the scheduled appointment. This includes mileage fees if travel has already begun.

3. Service Refusal & Document Issues

If a notarization cannot be completed due to:

  • Lack of valid identification

  • Incomplete or altered documents

  • A signer unwilling or unable to proceed

A travel fee will be charged. Please ensure all documents are ready and all parties are present.

 

4. Mileage Fees

Mileage fees are calculated based on the address submitted at the time of booking. These charges are non-refundable once travel has started.
