Wedding Officiant Services: Where Love Is Honored, Promises Are Spoken, and Memories Begin
I am a professional Wedding Officiant honored to create meaningful and beautifully crafted ceremonies for all couples. Ordained through the American Marriage Ministries and certified as a Certified Professional Wedding Officiant (CPWO), I officiate weddings, elopement ceremonies, vow renewals, and commitment ceremonies, including same-sex and non-religious celebrations. I also provide marriage license signing and filing services, ensuring every ceremony is legally sound and thoughtfully executed. With a refined and heartfelt approach, my goal is to honor each couple’s love and commitment through an elegant, inclusive, and truly memorable ceremony.
Frequently Asked Questions (Texas)
-
Can a marriage ceremony be performed online in Texas?
At this time, Texas law generally requires the couple and the officiant to be physically present together for a marriage ceremony to be legally valid. Fully virtual ceremonies (where the couple and officiant are all in separate locations via Zoom or video call) are not guaranteed to be legally recognized statewide. Some Justices of the Peace or counties may offer limited remote options, but availability and legality can vary. Couples should always confirm requirements with the county clerk that issued their marriage license.
-
Do you perform legal weddings in Texas?
Yes. I am an ordained minister through the American Marriage Ministries and a Certified Professional Wedding Officiant (CPWO). I perform legal marriage ceremonies in accordance with Texas Family Code requirements, provided the couple has a valid Texas marriage license and all legal conditions are met.
-
What do we need to get married in Texas?
You must obtain a Texas marriage license from any Texas county clerk. The license is typically valid for 90 days and must be signed by the couple and officiant after the ceremony. Certain waiting periods or exemptions may apply. I recommend confirming current requirements directly with the issuing county clerk.
-
Can you officiate elopements or small weddings?
Yes. I proudly offer elopement and intimate wedding ceremonies, including gatherings of 20 guests or fewer, as well as larger celebrations. Elopements are a beautiful, meaningful option and receive the same care, professionalism, and attention as larger ceremonies.
-
Do you travel to our location?
Yes. I am a mobile Wedding Officiant and travel to my clients’ chosen locations throughout Texas, provided the ceremony complies with state and local requirements.
-
Do you provide the marriage license?
No. Marriage licenses are issued by the county clerk, not the officiant. However, I am happy to guide you through the process and ensure your ceremony paperwork is completed correctly.
-
Will you file our marriage license?
After the ceremony, the signed license must be returned to the issuing county clerk within the required timeframe. I will clearly explain next steps so nothing is missed.
-
Do you offer non-religious or faith-neutral ceremonies?
Yes. I work with couples of all backgrounds and beliefs and customize ceremonies to reflect your values, preferences, and love story.
-
Do you provide anything after the ceremony?
Yes. I present couples with an elegant Marriage Certificate to memorialize their special day. This is a keepsake and not a legal document, but it is perfect for display, remembrance, and future generations.
-
Are you also a Notary?
Yes. I am a Texas commissioned, bonded, and background-checked Notary. While notarization is not required for marriage ceremonies in Texas, this credential adds an extra layer of professionalism, trust, and attention to legal detail.
