​1. Service Area & Travel Fees

Notary services include travel within a 40-mile radius from Dickinson, TX 77539 . Additional travel will be billed at $10 per 10 miles beyond the 40-mile limit, based on the round-trip distance from the notary’s location.

Clients are responsible for accurately calculating mileage using the provided tool. Final mileage fees will be confirmed before the appointment.

 

2. Service Tiers & Payment

Clients may choose from four service tiers. Fees will be discussed and confirmed before the appointment. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advance.

Accepted forms of payment include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.

 

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or service refusals with less than 24 hours’ notice of the scheduled appointment. This includes mileage fees if travel has already begun. 

 

A waiting time fee of $10 will apply every 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time.

4. Document Readiness

Clients must ensure all required documents are complete and ready for notarization at the time of the appointment. The notary cannot provide legal advice or assist with document preparation.

5. Confidentiality

All client information and documents are handled with strict confidentiality and in accordance with applicable notarial laws.

 

6. Refusal of Service

Lady Notary reserves the right to refuse service if identification is not provided, documents are incomplete, or the signer is absent, unwilling or unable to sign voluntarily.
