An apostille is a certification issued by the Texas Secretary of State that verifies a document for use in countries that are members of the Hague Apostille Convention.

 

2. Do I need an apostille or authentication?

If the destination country is part of the Hague Convention, you need an apostille. If not, authentication is required. We help determine the correct process.

 

3. Can you apostille documents from other states?

No. Texas can only apostille documents issued or notarized in Texas.

 

4. How long does the Texas apostille process take?

Standard processing takes 2–3 weeks, including state processing and mailing. Expedited options may be available.

 

5. Do you offer apostille services in Harris, Galveston, and Brazoria County?

6. What documents cannot be apostilled?
